It’s a PARTY!

September 28th!  Clergy For Obama in Kansas City had a “Lock-in” for Organizin’, Strategizin’, and because it was a room full of preachers, TESTIFYIN’!  We had over 40 people in attendance–committed, peace-loving ministers and laypeople representing quite the theological and denominational spectrum.  Paul Monteiro, The Deputy Director of Religious Affairs For The Campaign For Change, just happened to be in Kansas City, so he dropped by with some words of encouragement, along with Kimiko Gilmore and Andrew Mwavua from the Kansas City Campaign office.  A few brave souls even sat in front of the video camera to share why they are supporting Obama.

By the end of the night, someone even pulled out a guitar, and the remaining party-goers sang some familiar songs of inspiration.

Changing the World is hard work, but it sure can be fun!
